Polish striker Robert Lewandowski confirmed that his team, Barcelona, learned from their mistakes last season and from recent matches in the Copa del Rey, emphasizing that every match in the Champions League is of great importance.

Lewandowski said: "We learned from last season and the Copa del Rey match, we know we cannot wait for the second leg if we want to continue in the Champions League, both matches are important, we have to be ready, winning the Champions League is never easy, the tournament requires the highest level throughout several knockout stages."

The Polish striker continued: "The key is to approach every match with maximum focus and maintain consistency throughout the knockout league."

Regarding Barcelona's position among the continent's teams, Lewandowski said: "Is Barcelona one of the favorites? Yes, among the favorites, we have a young team, but there are strong teams like Bayern Munich and Arsenal, which are also among the contenders for the title."

He added: "The team has what it takes to compete for the cup, and we must be ready to face any opponent."

On the dream of a Barcelona final against Real Madrid, Lewandowski noted: "For the world and the fans, it would be a very exciting match, a Barcelona vs. Real Madrid final would be one of the best matches in history, something never seen before and it would be amazing."

Lewandowski also talked about his idols when he was young: "When I was young, I watched a lot of football and focused on the greats like Thierry Henry, Roberto Baggio, and Alan Shearer, I tried to benefit from the best they had and use their playing style, they pushed me to a big dream."

He added about the influence of coaches in his career: "I learned something good from every coach, Klopp was like a father, and Pep Guardiola gave me great tactical ability and focused me on training I hadn't paid attention to before, and Carlo Ancelotti stood out for the confidence he gives to players."

Lewandowski concluded his talk by saying: "When I scored four goals against Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, I realized what I had achieved and what it meant, it was the first time I felt I did something great," confirming that that night remains one of the standout individual performances in the history of the European championship.
