The newspaper 'Al-Youm Al-Sabea' revealed that the Zamalek administration promised Mohamed Shehata, the team's star, to amend and extend his contract, which ends in the 2029 season.

The newspaper explained that the player does not receive an amount commensurate with his great technical abilities and his influential contribution to the team, as he looks to rise to the top contract category in Zamalek, to bridge the current gap between his performance on the field and his salary, which remains below his ambitions and impact.

Despite Mohamed Shehata's desire to amend his contract to suit his abilities, the Zamalek administration has not moved on this file yet; the administration believes that it is still too early to talk about an extension, especially since the player's association with the White Castle extends until 2029.

Zamalek lost to Enppi yesterday, Wednesday, with a score of 1-0 in a postponed match from the 15th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
