Mohamed Awad Awaits Hussein Labib's Decision on His Dispute with Zamalek
Mohamed Awad, the goalkeeper of the Egyptian club Zamalek, is awaiting a decision from the club's president, Hussein Labib, regarding his recent issue following his repeated objections to the technical decisions in the past period.
According to "Al-Youm Al-Sabea" newspaper, the case of Mohamed Awad is now in the hands of the Zamalek president, who is reviewing the results of the investigations with the goalkeeper, in addition to holding a hearing with Abdel Nasser Mohamed, the football director, before announcing the team's management's final decision.
The source added that the Zamalek management is striving to resolve the issue quickly, especially with Mahdi Suleiman currently being relied upon as the main goalkeeper and Mahmoud El-Shenawy as a substitute, in light of Mohamed Sobhi's absence due to injury or suspension.
Awad was recently excluded from coach Moatamed Gamal's plans due to his objection to sitting on the bench.
