Al-Badri Achieves Historic Milestone with Ahli Tripoli
The Egyptian coach Hossam El Badry, the head coach of Al Ahli Tripoli, achieved a historic accomplishment with the Libyan club.
Al Ahli Tripoli continued its journey at the top of the Libyan league by defeating Al-Malaeb with a score of 3-0.
With this victory, Badr reached his 42nd consecutive match without defeat in the Libyan league competitions.
Al-Badri said in statements on the official page of Al-Ahly Tripoli Club: "Praise be to God for the victory, and I congratulate the players on achieving a historic record for the first time in the Libyan league, as we have not been defeated in 42 consecutive matches."
He added: "We managed to break the historical record of Al-Wehda Club, which achieved 41 consecutive matches without a loss in 1992."
He concluded: "What has been achieved is an accomplishment for the Al-Ahly Tripoli system, including the players, the technical staff, and the management."
