Hossam El Badry responds to fan comparison with Flick

Hossam Al-Badri, the coach of Al Ahli Tripoli, humorously responded to a fan's request for football similar to that of FC Barcelona under German coach Hansi Flick.

A video has circulated on social media showing Al-Badri on the pitch, where a fan calls out to him to present Ahli Tripoli at the same level as FC Barcelona under Flick.

The Egyptian coach simply looked at the fan and interacted with his request, saying: 'Inshallah', in a moment that received widespread engagement on social media.

A comparison has been made between Badri and Flick amid FC Barcelona's strong start to the 2026-2027 season under the German coach.

FC Barcelona have won their first seven matches across all competitions, having defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-0, Elche 5-0, Rayo Vallecano 5-2, Valencia 5-0, Levante 4-2, and Feyenoord 5-1 in the UEFA Champions League, before thrashing Racing Santander 7-2 in the sixth round of LaLiga.

FC Barcelona leads the LaLiga table after six rounds, with 18 points from six consecutive victories.

Meanwhile, Hossam El Badry took over as coach of Ahli Tripoli in March 2025, after the Libyan club announced his signing to replace French coach Didier Gomes.
