Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, commented on the decision of the White Knights group to apologize for not attending the upcoming match of the White team against Pyramids in the league.

Zamalek will face Pyramids tomorrow, Sunday, as part of the twentieth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Mido said on the "X" platform: "The White Knights' apology for not attending a stadium where their colleagues were martyred, when they have no other aim in going to the stadium except for the love and support of Zamalek, is a sentiment they have shared for many years. This is an action we must respect and appreciate, as there are things in life far more important than football."

He added: "But at the same time, it is a decision that places a great responsibility on a wide sector of the club's fans, specifically the third-tier fans of the past, to be present in the stadium, supporting the team from the first minute to the last. It sends a message to the entire Arab world that Zamalek's fans are responsible and always show up in the stands when the club needs them."
