Kane: I Haven't Heard Anything About Barcelona, Very Happy at Bayern Munich
Harry Kane, Bayern Munich's striker, confirmed that he hasn't received any information regarding contacts from Barcelona, following statements made by Xavier Vilajoana, a candidate for the presidency of the Catalan club.
Kane's comments came after he scored two goals in Bayern Munich's 3-2 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, bringing his total to 28 goals in the Bundesliga this season.
Kane responded to the rumors about contacts from Barcelona: "I haven't heard anything about this matter, my father and brother handle everything related to me, but they haven't told me anything."
He added: "As I said before, I am happy here at Bayern, and I am focused on this season and my career with Bayern."
He concluded his remarks by saying: "I consider what is being said as a compliment."
Vilajoana had stated on Friday: "We have started contacts with Kane's entourage, and we must work carefully and professionally, we are studying several files, and Kane is one of them."
He concluded by saying: "He is a top scorer who excels in team play and is excellent in tight spaces, which is what Barcelona needs."
