The Truth About Zamalek's Exclusion from the African Confederation
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed on his program "Stad Al-Mahwar" that the recent rumors about the exclusion of Zamalek Club from the African Confederation Cup are not true.
Ghandour clarified that the officials of the Egyptian Football Association have communicated with the relevant authorities and confirmed that Zamalek's participation in the tournament will continue as normal and they will not be excluded.
He pointed out that the registration suspension crisis facing the White Club does not mean it will be stopped from participating in continental competitions or deprived of continuing its journey in the Confederation Cup during the current season.
Ghandour stated that Zamalek Club must settle all its debts related to cases with final judgments by no later than May 31st as a fundamental condition for obtaining the African license, which grants it the right to participate in CAF competitions for the new season.
Zamalek successfully qualified for the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Cup, topping their group with 11 points.
