Omar Gaber: Confident Fans Will Support the Team Against Kaizer Chiefs
Omar Gaber, the Zamalek star, confirmed that his team is aiming to secure a victory in tomorrow's match against South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs to ensure qualification for the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Cup.
Zamalek will face Kaizer Chiefs tomorrow, Saturday, in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Omar Gaber said in the press conference before the match: "There is no alternative but to win tomorrow's match and top the group to qualify for the next round. Despite adverse circumstances, we continue thanks to the support of loyal fans and we strive to make them happy."
He added: "The players constantly talk about the importance of the match. The team finished the encounter with Smouha, and we have a new task in tomorrow's match. We are focused on achieving victory before thinking about the Ceramica match in the Egypt Cup, and we will fight to make the fans happy."
He concluded: "I am sure the fans will not hesitate to support the team, and we know they will be present in large numbers at the match. We hope to make them happy tomorrow and celebrate qualification together. Zamalek always goes through tough times, but there is resilience and selflessness from everyone to bring joy to the fans and restore the club to its rightful place, especially with the team competing for three championships this season."
