Former Football Association President Youssef El Dahshouri Harb Passes Away

Youssef El Dahshouri Harb, the former president of the Egyptian Football Federation, passed away today, Friday, at the age of 85, following a distinguished sports career.

His son, Mohamed Al-Dahshouri, announced the death via his Facebook account, writing: "My father, my beloved, and my support, General Youssef Al-Dahshouri Harb, is in God's mercy."

The Egyptian Football Federation has released an official statement mourning the late Youssef El-Dahshouri Harb, who previously served as president of the federation: "Engineer Hani Abou Rida, president of the Egyptian Football Federation, expresses deep sorrow and condolences for the passing of Lieutenant General Youssef El-Dahshouri Harb, the former president of the Egyptian Football Federation, who passed away today after a distinguished career and a journey of contribution to Egyptian sports."

Mahmoud El-Khatib, the President of Al Ahly, along with the esteemed members of the board and the executive management, announced with great sadness on the official Al Ahly page the passing of Major General Youssef El-Dahshouri Harb.
