Essam Abdel Fattah, the head of the Referees Committee, stressed the necessity of firmly addressing refereeing errors during the upcoming football season, confirming that the committee will show no leniency or tolerance for mistakes that could affect the course of matches or disrupt the principle of fair competition among the competing clubs.

Abdel Fattah stated in a television interview: "The formation of the committee includes prominent figures, and we extend our hands to everyone without exception." He added: "We are working in a highly professional manner and ask for trust in Egyptian refereeing. We will discuss our mistakes and will not be in denial, and we will announce to the public to move in the right direction."

He added: "Penalties will be strict for offenders, and referee performance analysis will occur every week or every two weeks if possible."

He concluded: "Our referees have honored us at the World Cup, and Amine Omar from Egypt, along with Gamal Ghandour's approval to be on the committee, is a great honor."
