Hazem Emam Comments on Zamalek's Victory Over Smouha in the League
Hazem Emam, the former Zamalek star, praised the performance of the White team and their victory over Smouha in the league despite the crises the club is going through.
Zamalek secured a victory over Smouha yesterday, Wednesday, with a 1-0 win, thanks to a goal scored by Nasser Mansi in a postponed match from the 14th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Hazem Emam said in a radio statement: "Zamalek is a story, a tale, and a narrative, and this is something I no longer understand. All the factors don't suggest that you can win or rise from where you are, or at least be in fifth or seventh place."
He added: "But being in second place, competing very strongly, playing intensely with the pressure of matches, and winning, that's very important."
Zamalek currently holds the second position in the Premier League standings with 31 points.
