Yamal continued to shine in the tournament, participating for 90 minutes in each of the previous three matches, delivering a dedicated and effective performance. He provided an assist against Guadalajara in the Round of 32, scored a goal against Racing Santander in the Round of 16, and then scored another goal against Albacete in the quarter-finals, confirming his crucial role in the cup nights.

The young player's brilliance extends to the league and the Champions League, where he scored in five consecutive matches this season, against Oviedo, Elche, and Mallorca in La Liga, against Copenhagen in the Champions League, and against Albacete in the cup.

Yamal's role becomes more apparent when facing Atletico, having played six matches against Simeone's team, achieving five victories and one draw, and scoring a goal in the last league meeting at the Metropolitano Stadium, in addition to two assists in the Copa del Rey semi-finals in the previous edition.
