Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's manager, revealed the latest updates on his players' injuries ahead of the Premier League match against Brentford, emphasizing the importance of focusing on his team and preparations for the upcoming match.

Regarding Max Duaman's injury, Arteta said: 'Max Duaman is recovering very well, I think he will be with us in about a week or so, and then he will be able to regain his rhythm and be available for us.'

He added about Mikel Merino's condition: 'I think the doctors were completely satisfied with the procedure the player underwent, now it is the beginning of a long journey, of course, we are talking about bone healing, so we will adhere to the timeline, and I am sure he will do his best to speed up the recovery process. The timeframe we are talking about is several months, whether it is three, four, or five months, we do not know yet.'

Arteta addressed the Manchester City and Liverpool match, saying: 'I understand the frustration from City's win over Liverpool, but these are things beyond our control, and we just have to focus on ourselves.'

Regarding Thomas Frank's departure from Tottenham, Arteta explained: 'Obviously, it is very sad news for a colleague to leave the team, because Thomas is an excellent coach, and an exceptional man as well, and he has proven that in the league.'

He added about his future with Arsenal: 'I think every era is different in each club, we have in the Premier League two of the most famous coaches, Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson, the situation has changed a lot in both clubs, so I don’t know, it depends on many factors, and the first is having the players support you.'

Arteta concluded his statements by talking about Zubimendi's brilliance in the last match, saying: 'The player's contribution to the goal in the last match, the credit goes to Merino for this, Merino was teaching him the celebrations, how to reach the penalty area, and everything.'
