The journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour reported that the Zamalek club's football management has required goalkeeper Mohamed Awad to apologize for his recent actions as a fundamental step to end his exclusion, allowing him to return to group training and participate in official matches.

He added on the "Stad Al-Mehwar" program: "This is in addition to him being subjected to an investigation by the legal affairs department at his request after he objected to the financial penalties imposed on him."

There was a sense of discontent within Zamalek Club due to repeated objections by Awad to the coaching staff's decisions and his deviation from the script. Therefore, it was decided to continue excluding the goalkeeper from the match list as a temporary disciplinary measure until the issue is resolved.

Zamalek currently holds the second position in the league standings with 28 points.
