The Union Announces Ahmed Al-Julaidan's Position on the Al-Gharafa Match
The Al-Ittihad Club, through an official statement, revealed the results of the medical examinations undergone by right-back Ahmed Al-Julaidan, following an injury he sustained during his recent participation with the team.
The federation clarified that tests confirmed Ahmed Al-Julaidan has an injury in the right thigh's hamstring, which necessitated subjecting him to a special treatment and rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical team.
The club confirmed that the player has already started implementing the treatment plan, in preparation for his gradual return, according to the assessment of his medical condition and his response to the treatment in the coming period.
This means that Al-Julaidan will officially be absent from the match against Al-Gharafa of Qatar, scheduled for next Tuesday evening, as part of the seventh round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League for the elite.
The player was injured during the El Clasico match against Al-Nassr, which took place last Friday evening as part of the 21st round of the Saudi Roshn League.
Al-Julaidan, who is 21 years old, participated in 23 matches with Al-Ittihad this season, totaling 843 minutes of play, without scoring or assisting any goals.
Al-Ittihad currently holds the sixth position in the standings of its group in the AFC Champions League for the elite, with 9 points, while Al-Gharafa from Qatar is in ninth place with 6 points.
