Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta appeared in a press statement following the 3-0 win over Sunderland in the 25th round of the Premier League, at the Emirates Stadium.

The coach said in his talk: "It was a very tough match against a very strong opponent. We scored a great goal through Zubimendi, they are a team that can break your rhythm, and they are very adept in their style of play. The substitutes played a crucial role. It was a great match."

He added about Arsenal's strengths: "Technically, tactically, and mentally. We played a League Cup semi-final (against Chelsea) here a few matches ago."

He continued about Viktor Gyökeres who scored two goals: "I am very happy. He deserves it. He is a very committed player and wants to improve. He saw the lineup and I told him he would come in and make a difference."

About Trossard: "He needs to play with this freedom, he is very smart. He understands space and timing."

He emphasized: "I'm very upset we didn't score from a set piece!"

He concluded: "The atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic, and that's what we need. Our home performance has been very good."
