Arsenal striker Viktor Gyökeres appeared in a press statement following the 3-0 victory over Sunderland in the 25th round of the English Premier League, at the Emirates Stadium.

The Swedish striker said in his interview: "There were wide spaces around the possession area when we had the ball, so I was aware of that. The result helps us; we were leading 1-0 and they were striving hard to equalize."

He added, "It's natural to get to know everyone better, as well as the plan and the surrounding matters. You work hard and try to do your part on the field, and as a forward, you try to contribute to scoring goals."

Regarding what Arteta wants from the players: "He always wants to bring out the best in every player. This is important, but every player has a role to play in the game plan, so we have to stick to it and do what is required of us."

He emphasized: "It seems easy when you have a match almost every two days. You have little time to rest and prepare for the next match. It's easy not to think about anything else."

He concluded about the fans: "They are amazing and support us in every match. Their support lifts our spirits when we need it."
