Manchester United's Goals to Strengthen Their Midfield
Thursday 05-02-2026
Manchester United is preparing to make a strong move in the upcoming summer transfer market to strengthen their midfield, as the departure of Brazilian Casemiro is confirmed, alongside the uncertainty surrounding the future of Uruguayan Manuel Ugarte.

According to "The Athletic," the management of the "Red Devils" has placed Nottingham Forest and England national team player Elliot Anderson at the top of their midfield targets list, as he is highly admired within the club.

The source added that the list also includes Crystal Palace and England player Adam Wharton, alongside Brighton and Cameroon star Carlos Baleba, as part of United's efforts to rebuild the midfield before the new season begins.

Signing any of these names will not be an easy task for Manchester United next summer, given the strong competition from several European clubs, along with the significant increase in their market values.
