Wednesday 04-02-2026
Italian press reports revealed today, Tuesday, a state of anticipation within the corridors of AC Milan regarding the decision on the future of German striker Niclas Füllkrug, who is on loan from English club West Ham United.

The journalist specializing in the transfer market, Matteo Moretto, reported that the "Rossoneri" management has not yet made a final decision on activating the option to purchase the player for 5 million euros. He pointed out that the Lombardy club has some concerns about the player's advancing age, in addition to closely monitoring his physical condition and stability regarding injuries.

The report stated that the final decision will primarily depend on what the German international will deliver on the field in the coming period, in addition to the role he plays as a leading and influential figure in the team's dressing room.

It is noted that Milan is looking to strengthen its attacking line for the next season. However, the club's current policy leans towards investing in elements that ensure technical and physical sustainability, which places Füllkrug under close evaluation until the end of the current season.
