Al-Ittihad Finalizes Deals for En-Nesyri and Gustavo Sa and Agrees to Kante's Departure
The Saudi Al-Ittihad Club has finalized the signing of the Moroccan duo Youssef En-Nesyri, a striker from Turkish club Fenerbahçe, and Portuguese Gustavo Sa, a player from Portuguese club Famalicão, to strengthen the team during the current winter transfer window.
According to the Saudi newspaper 'Al-Riyadiyah', the Al-Ittihad management has officially completed the two deals as a step to enhance the squad following the departure of Frenchman Karim Benzema to the team’s rival, Al-Hilal, before the transfer market closes.
The newspaper also indicated that Al-Ittihad’s management agreed to the departure of Frenchman N'Golo Kante to Turkish club Fenerbahçe, as part of the arrangements to strengthen the midfield and provide space to sign En-Nesyri.
Press reports confirmed that the deal included an exchange between Al-Ittihad and Fenerbahçe, where Kante moved to the Turkish team in exchange for acquiring Youssef En-Nesyri, reflecting Al-Ittihad's eagerness to compensate for Benzema’s departure with players capable of elevating the team’s level this season.
