Ayman Hussein sustained an injury in the hamstring during the match against the Bahrain national team, as part of the Arab Cup Qatar 2025, which took place last December, before the injury recurred later.

Exclusive sources informed the winwin platform that the Iraqi national team striker learned from the mistake he made previously by rushing back to the field, which led to the aggravation and recurrence of the injury. Therefore, he decided not to rush his return this time, despite receiving the green light from the medical team overseeing his recovery process.

The sources added that the player is currently working intensively and individually with a fitness specialist, focusing on specific exercises that will help him regain full readiness before returning to official competitions.

They indicated that Ayman Hussein explained his position to the technical staff of the Al-Karma team, who understood his situation and gave him enough time to return in better form, despite the team needing his services amid the strong competition for the Iraqi Stars League title.

The sources clarified that Al-Karma's coach, Antonio Cazorla, is awaiting the return of his main striker, especially after the departure of Jordanian striker Ali Alwan during the last winter transfer period, in addition to the team not benefiting from Ayman's services as required since the beginning of the current season, which has put technical pressure on the player.
