Jordan national team striker Ali Alwan led his team Al-Karma to an important and valuable victory over Mosul with a score of 3-1, in the match held on Sunday as part of the thirteenth round of the Iraqi Stars League, in a game that carried a special significance as it was the player's last appearance in his team's jersey before embarking on a new professional experience.

The match was a perfect farewell station for Alwan, who is expected to join Saudi Riyadh Club next week after a full agreement was reached between both parties on all contract details, in a deal that saw Al-Karma's management approve in exchange for an amount close to half a million dollars.

Thanks to this win, Al-Karma jumped to second place in the Iraqi Stars League standings with 26 points, continuing their pursuit of the leader Erbil, who tops the table with 30 points, in a fierce battle for the top positions.

Ali Alwan stood out prominently in the match, opening the scoring for his team with an extremely early goal that entered the history of the competition, as the goal came just 34 seconds after the starting whistle, marking the fastest goal in the Iraqi League this season.

The goal came after Alwan received the ball near the penalty area, before unleashing a powerful shot that settled in the heart of Mosul’s goal, announcing Al-Karma’s lead and giving his team a great morale boost at the start of the match.

With this goal, Alwan raised his tally to five goals with Al-Karma this season, confirming his technical value and great importance to the team, as he successfully completed his last mission in the best possible way, putting his team on the path to victory and delighting its fans before bidding farewell to the Iraqi League and heading towards a new experience in the Roshn Saudi League.
