Al-Karma club is close to concluding a new attacking deal as part of its early moves to strengthen the team during the current winter transfer window, anticipating the possible departure of its Jordanian star Ali Alwan.

Informed sources reported that Al-Karma's management has already started taking steps to compensate for Alwan's departure, amid increasing reports that the player has received several external offers, most notably from clubs in the Saudi and Qatari leagues, especially after the remarkable performances he delivered with the Jordan national team in the recent 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar, where he was crowned the tournament's top scorer.

According to sources, the club's management has put several names on the negotiation table, but the most prominent and closest to being finalized is the Brazilian striker Thiago Lionco, who is very close to wearing the team's jersey in the upcoming period.

Sources confirmed that negotiations with the player have reached advanced stages, with only a few minor details left before the official announcement of the deal, provided that the issue of Ali Alwan's departure is finalized.

The Brazilian striker Thiago Lionco is 33 years old and possesses extensive experience in Arab football fields, having previously played for Al Dhafra and Khor Fakkan clubs in the UAE, as well as for Muaither in Qatar.

Currently, the player is undergoing a professional experience in the Chinese league. He is distinguished by his physical strength and vast experience inside the penalty area, in addition to his ability to finish attacks and create chances for his teammates.
