Petrojet Coach: There Were Mistakes by the Players Due to Pressure
Coach Sayed Eid of the Petrojet team spoke about the reason for his team's loss to Zamalek today.
Petrojet lost to Zamalek 2-0 this evening, Wednesday, in the 16th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Sayed Eid said at the press conference: "I was expecting a better performance in today's match. The team made some mistakes at the beginning of the game, and Petrojet's conditions have not been ideal recently due to the unavailability of some players."
He continued: "There were mistakes by the players due to the pressure, as seen in the penalty awarded to Zamalek in today's match."
He continued: "I have not rejected any opportunity for any player on the team to leave the club if they receive a suitable offer. I agreed to Hamad Hamdan's departure to Zamalek, but the player changed his destination to Pyramids. I also agreed to Hadi Riyad's departure and welcomed Tawfiq Mohammed's move to Pyramids, but the latter requested to loan the player, and Tawfiq preferred to stay with Petrojet."
He added: "The departure of some players did not negatively affect the team, and any player whose departure we refuse will be a ticking time bomb within the team. Hamad Hamdan left for a significant financial sum, and Al-Ahly did not request to include Tawfiq Mohammed."
