Sports critic Amr Al-Dardir revealed the latest developments in the crisis of player Mahmoud Bentayk with Zamalek.
Al-Dardir stated on Facebook: "Zamalek succeeds in paying $176,000 of overdue dues to Bentayk! The left-back will return to group training, but his chances of joining the match against Al-Masry in the Confederation Cup are slim."
Zamalek is preparing to face its counterpart Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi tomorrow, Sunday, in the third round of the group stage of the African Confederation Cup.
The match between Zamalek and Al-Masry will kick off at 9:00 PM Cairo time and 10:00 PM Mecca time.
