CAF Reveals the Ideal Lineup for the Africa Cup of Nations
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the best lineup for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which was held in Morocco, following the conclusion of the competition that witnessed high technical levels and the brilliance of several of the continent’s top stars.
The best lineup included influential names who had a direct impact on their teams’ journeys during the tournament. In the attack, there were Sadio Mane (Senegal), Victor Osimhen (Nigeria), and Ibrahim Diaz (Morocco), following decisive offensive roles and impactful goals in various stages.
In midfield, CAF selected the quartet of Pape Gueye and Idrissa Gueye from Senegal, alongside Ademola Lookman (Nigeria), for their comprehensive roles in ball recovery, playmaking, and controlling the rhythm of the matches.
