Controversial Comment from Former Pharaohs Star on Mane's Goal Against El-Shenawy
Hassan Mostafa, former star of the Egyptian national team, commented on Sadio Mane's goal for the Senegal national team against Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations semifinal.
The Senegal national team secured a 1-0 victory over the Egypt national team in the Africa Cup of Nations semifinal.
Hassan Mostafa said in statements on "On Sport" channel: "I played with El-Hadary in the Egyptian national team, and he saved shots much more difficult than this one. Once, against Ivory Coast, he saved a shot from Drogba while he was inside the penalty area."
He added: "El-Hadary cannot be compared to any other goalkeeper, with all due respect to El-Shenawy, who is one of the best goalkeepers in Egypt."
He continued: "El-Shenawy might not have seen the ball because his view was blocked by the players in front of him, and I blame the defensive duo because they were supposed to be closer to Mane."
