World Cup Visas Spark Controversy, Senegal Fans Follow Ivory Coast and Iran

According to Agence France-Presse, officials in Senegal and Ivory Coast confirmed the rejection of a large number of visa applications for official fan groups, leading to the cancellation of group travel plans to support the teams during the tournament.

The tournament also witnessed similar issues with Iran, as the Iranian federation complained about the refusal to grant visas to several officials and staff accompanying the team, while other sports figures faced entry problems related to immigration procedures in the host countries.

As for what journalist Romain Molina mentioned, the currently circulating information indicates that there is no official fan delegation from Senegal due to visa issues, rather than a comprehensive official decision preventing all Senegalese fans from attending.
