Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, star of the Egyptian national team, confirmed that the Pharaohs gave their best effort during the Africa Cup of Nations and indicated that everyone is ready to face Nigeria tomorrow, Saturday.

Trezeguet said at the pre-match press conference: "Everyone gave their best and didn't hold back a single drop of sweat, but that's football."

He added: "We were playing to win the title, which has been our goal since the start of the tournament. The coaching staff, led by Hossam Hassan, did their job perfectly, and everyone gave their best effort. We did our utmost, but luck was not on our side."
