Portuguese international João Cancelo, a player for Saudi club Al Hilal, expressed his great happiness at joining Spanish club Barcelona on loan during the winter transfer window, emphasizing that wearing the Catalan club's jersey is a special honor in his football career.

Cancelo said in statements to Barcelona's official channel: "Barcelona is one of the clubs I love more than others. I have always wanted to play here, and I have represented the club before two seasons ago. When you get the chance to return, it is always a great honor."

The Portuguese star added: "Representing this club, which I consider the best in the world, is exceptional for me. It is the only club that gives me goosebumps when signing for it. I am very happy and excited to play for Barça again."

Cancelo spoke about his recent observations of the team's performance, saying: "I watched the Spanish Super Cup final and saw Barcelona impose their usual style and culture, playing attractive and attacking football. The result was fair. The team has high quality and plays comprehensive football."

Regarding the behind-the-scenes of his transfer, he explained: "I first spoke with Al-Hilal, and they told me that my departure was possible.
