Barcelona club announced the registration of Swedish striker Roni Bardi in the first team squad and granted him the number 19 jersey, instead of the number 28 he wore while registered with Barcelona Atlètic, starting from the upcoming Spanish Super Cup final.

The official Barcelona website stated that Bardi was among the standout players in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Athletic Bilbao, which prompted the club to officially include him as a first team player and assign him a primary number in the squad.

The club noted on its official site that the number 19 jersey is not new to the player, as he previously wore it during the summer preparation matches, before it became his permanent number with the first team.

Barcelona explained that the number 19 is considered one of the club's historic numbers, having been worn by many prominent players over the years, and it had been vacant since last summer after Lamine Yamal switched to the number 10 jersey.

This decision comes as part of solidifying Roni Bardi's position within the first team during the upcoming phase.
