Moatamad Jamal Emphasizes Seriousness and Increases Physical Load in Zamalek Training
The first football team of Zamalek Club resumed their training today, Wednesday, at the Military College Stadium, as part of their preparations for the upcoming match against ZED in the Egypt Capital Cup competition, following the end of the rest period the players had over the past few days.
Moatamad Jamal, the acting head coach, led his first training session with the team. Before the session began, he held a meeting with the players, during which he emphasized the importance of the upcoming phase and expressed his confidence in the team's abilities despite the challenges and circumstances the club is currently facing.
Jamal urged his players to stay focused and give their utmost effort in order to perform strongly in the upcoming matches, especially given the important competitions following the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations, including the Egyptian Premier League, the CAF Confederation Cup, and the Egypt Cup.
The coaching staff increased the players' physical workload during today's training session to prepare them physically after a five-day rest period. The players underwent various physical exercises under the supervision of fitness coach Nuno Costa Ribeiro, followed by ball drills and tactical work, before concluding the session with a small-sided technical scrimmage to apply what had been practiced.
