Al Hilal Club management has placed Norwegian striker Alexander Sørloth, currently with Atlético Madrid, at the top of their offensive options as a potential replacement for the Polish star during the current winter transfer window.

The capital club's management took the initiative to act officially by contacting Surloth's agent to inquire about the player's situation and the possibility of his transfer to Al-Hilal during this January.

The Spanish newspaper AS revealed that Al Hilal is not acting alone, as Italian club Juventus is also competing to sign the Norwegian striker, according to both AS and La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Italian coach Luciano Spalletti believes that signing a dedicated striker has become an urgent necessity during the winter transfer window to strengthen his team's attacking power.

Juventus management has put together a shortlist to strengthen the striker position, including Atlético Madrid's Sorloth, alongside the Uruguayan Darwin Núñez, who currently plays for Al Hilal.

Sorloth joined Atlético Madrid from Villarreal in August 2023 for 32 million euros, beginning a new chapter in La Liga.

The Norwegian striker participated in 76 matches for Atlético Madrid across all competitions, scoring 30 goals and providing 3 assists, highlighting his goal-scoring value in European football.
