Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta appeared in a press conference following the 3-2 victory over Bournemouth in the 20th round of the English Premier League at the Vitality Stadium.

The coach said, "I am very happy because we were aware of the difficulty of the match. They are a team that poses a constant threat; they are very strong, and they made it even harder for us after scoring the first goal. However, I am impressed with the team's character."

Regarding Gabriel's mistake in Bournemouth's goal: "I admire Gabriel's character and the way he overcame that situation is incredible, which shows how much we have developed. The team found a way to beat them, and it’s a big win."

He continued: "When we talk about players who have authority and control, this player embodies that in this team (Gabriel). That’s why he is so important. We have to set an example; you can’t ask that from others and then have something go wrong. So, I think today's example is excellent."

And he concluded about Declan Rice: "Another player who has put in a lot of effort in the past few days to be ready today. We didn't know how long it would take. He gave his best, and the team was rewarded with two wonderful goals. I believe it's the first time he has scored two goals in a Premier League match, so yes, it's a great and unforgettable day."
