Barcelona midfielder Javi continues the recovery process from a serious cruciate ligament injury, under close monitoring by the club's medical staff, according to the Spanish newspaper "Sport".

Sources confirmed that Javi has spent the past months working persistently to regain his fitness, closely following the team's daily training sessions, monitoring every detail from the team's designated dining room before starting his sessions with physiotherapists. This commitment reflects the player's keenness to stay connected with the team's progress despite his absence from matches.

Barcelona plans to gradually reintegrate Javi into the field, expecting him to start training with the team at the end of January and participate in matches starting February, taking into account the severity of the injury and avoiding rushing the return. The club also does not rule out that Javi might travel with the team to Saudi Arabia to support and encourage his teammates during the Spanish Super Cup competitions.
