The rising talent in Barcelona, young player Ibrahima Tunkara, continued to draw attention after his outstanding performance with Spain's Under-17 team in the opening of the European Youth Championship, following a 4-1 victory over Estonia.

The Barcelona player succeeded in scoring a goal from a penalty that he earned himself, in addition to providing two assists, affirming his status as one of the most promising talents emerging from "La Masia."

Tounkara played as a starter in the right midfielder position and clearly demonstrated his superiority during the match, creating nine offensive opportunities for the Spanish team thanks to his strong runs and ability to break lines. He also provided two decisive assists to Mikel Oyarzabal and Enzo Alves, the son of former Brazilian star Marcelo, in a performance that the Spanish media considered exceptional for a player who is only 16 years old.

Tounkara is regarded within Barcelona as one of the brightest gems of the club's academy, having played this season with the youth team despite still being of junior age. He also played his first match with "Barcelona Athletic" at just 15 years old. Despite the increasing media attention around him, the club and his entourage are keen on developing him gradually without rushing his full promotion.

The player is expected to get the opportunity to participate in the first team's summer preparations under the guidance of coach Hansi Flick, as Barcelona will begin its preparations for the new season in mid-July.

Reports indicate that Flick will rely on a number of young talents during the preparation period due to the participation of some stars in the World Cup, and Tounkara will be one of the most anticipated names in the group.
