According to the same reports, the player is pushing to leave Al-Hilal club, as he wishes to continue with Barcelona for no less than two seasons, before concluding his professional career at Benfica, where he began his football journey.

Current negotiations are ongoing between Barcelona and Al-Hilal to reach a final agreement, after the Catalan club hoped to terminate the player's contract and acquire him for free, but that is no longer possible.

The Saudi club is demanding no less than 10 million euros to release the player, as they insist on benefiting from the increase in his value, while discussions continue between the parties to reach a middle ground.

Cancelo has also expressed his willingness to reduce his salary and waive part of his financial entitlements to facilitate his return to Barcelona, while all scenarios remain open regarding his future.
