Al-Ittihad Triumphs Over Neom with an Exciting Three-Goal Victory in Tabuk

Al-Ittihad team imposed their dominance and secured a valuable victory against Neom with a score of three goals to one in the match that brought the two teams together on Wednesday evening as part of the Saudi Pro League (Roshn Saudi League) competition.

The King Khalid Sports City Stadium in Tabuk hosted the match, held as part of the twelfth round, and witnessed a strong competitive presence between the two teams from the very first minutes.

Al-Ittihad entered the match with a lineup that included Rajkovic, Hassan Kadash, Danilo Pereira, Ahmed Sharahili, Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti, Fabinho, Kanté, Bergwijn, Roger Fernández, Moussa Diaby, and Karim Benzema.

Portuguese player Roger Fernandes opened the scoring for Al-Ittihad in the 14th minute, heading in a precise cross from Steven Bergwijn beautifully into the net past Neum.

Neom returned to the match atmosphere aiming for an equalizer through Algerian Saïd Benrahma, who fired a brilliant, powerful shot from outside the box in the 27th minute, ending the first half in a draw.

Al-Ittihad regained the lead in the 68th minute through the Dutch player Steven Bergwijn, benefiting from an outstanding individual effort by his teammate Moussa Diaby inside the penalty area.

Ahmed Al-Ghamdi concluded the Goals Festival by scoring the third goal in injury time, securing a 3-1 victory for Al-Ittihad and raising their total to 20 points, placing them fifth in the standings.

Neom's points total remained frozen at 17, placing them seventh in the Roshn Saudi League standings, following a loss that did not prevent them from putting up a strong fight against one of the league's toughest teams.
