Al-Khaleej Chairman: We Are Open to Offers but We Want Hawsawi to Stay
Ahmed Khuraidah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Khaleej Club, spoke about the future of the team's midfielder Murad Hawsawi amid rumors linking him to a transfer to Al-Hilal or Al-Ittihad during the upcoming winter transfer window, which begins in early January.
In a television interview, Khuraidah said that Murad Hawsawi is considered one of the key pillars in the Khaleej team, noting that the player has had an impressive start to the current season and emphasizing the club's desire to retain him.
He added: "Murad Hawsawi is an important part of our team, and we want him to stay, but I cannot say 'no' to the offers presented by clubs interested in his services."
When asked about the rumors regarding the player's transfer to Al-Hilal during the winter transfer window, the president of Al-Khaleej simply said, "We will see what happens in the coming period."
Khurayda continued: "There are official offers regarding Murad Hawsawi, and we are handling the matter calmly and professionally, ensuring a better future for the player, the interests of Al-Khaleej Club, and also making sure the national team benefits from his services."
