Barcelona's international Polish star Robert Lewandowski sparked speculation about his future, knowing that the veteran striker's contract with the Catalan club expires at the end of the current season.

Lewandowski said in a media interview: "I still have some time, and until today I do not know where I want to play, there is no need to think about it now, and maybe the right time will come later."

He added: "If I were younger, it would be different, and I would make sure to secure my future and know where I will play, but now I need to feel it, and until this moment I have not felt it yet. Maybe after a while, I will start talking about my future with my agent, I can postpone it."

Regarding the possibility of accepting a salary reduction to continue with Barcelona, he said: "There is nothing like that, it also depends on the club's plan and what I want. I cannot confirm renewing my contract if the club decides that. Of course, I have great respect for Barcelona, and I know well what this club is about. I have tried to help many times, and it was my role when I joined Barcelona, which is to instill these standards of mentality and hard work. I did that at the beginning, now I enjoy every match I play and winning."

As for his ambitions this season, Lewandowski did not hide his desire to win more titles, confidently saying: "I want everything, I want to qualify for the World Cup, win the league title, and win the Champions League," confirming that his passion for competition remains strong despite his age.
