The Al-Shabab team received a major blow ahead of their highly anticipated match against Al-Ittihad, as it was confirmed that two key players will be absent due to injury. This comes within the context of the 11th round of the Saudi Pro League (Roshn Saudi League).

The youth team will be without the duo Yanick Carrasco and Abdulaziz Al-Othman in the match against Al-Ittihad, as both players sustained different injuries during the final preparations for the anticipated encounter.

Al-Shabab Club announced on its official account on the "X" platform that Carrasco felt pain in the area of his previous injury during Friday's training, which prevented him from completing the session.

The coaching and medical staff decided to rest Carrasco for the match against Al-Ittihad to ensure his safety, with plans for him to return to the team in upcoming matches after his full recovery.

The club's account also explained that Abdulaziz Al-Othman experienced muscle pain during the training session and was taken to the medical clinic for the necessary examinations.

Al-Shabab team will visit Al-Ittihad as a guest on Saturday evening at the "Al-Inma" Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, at 8:30 PM Saudi time.

Al Shabab occupies the thirteenth position in the Roshn League standings with 8 points, while Al-Ittihad is in ninth place with 14 points before the start of the round.
