Italian coach Simone Inzaghi made a surprising decision to exclude several Al Hilal international players from the squad traveling to the UAE for the Asian match against Sharjah.

The list witnessed the absence of five Saudi national team players: Hassan Tambakti, Nasser Al-Dawsari, Mohammed Kanno, Salem Al-Dawsari, and Abdullah Al-Hamdan, according to what Al-Hilal announced on its official website.

The decision came after the players participated with the Saudi national team in the Arab Cup, as the coaching staff preferred to give them a short rest period.

The national team players are scheduled to undergo special training sessions at the club's headquarters next Monday, following a three-day rest period granted by Inzaghi.

Al Hilal's delegation will depart tomorrow morning to the city of Sharjah, with the Italian coach scheduled to hold a press conference alongside one of the players in the evening before the anticipated match.

Al Hilal will visit Sharjah of the UAE on Monday, as part of the sixth round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Al Hilal occupies second place in the Roshn League standings, four points behind Al Nassr, while leading their Asian group with a perfect record after five rounds.
