Simone Inzaghi, the Italian coach of Al-Hilal, has confirmed his plans for the team's program during the current break after winning 2-1 against Al-Gharafa in the opening of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Inzaghi has given Al-Hilal players a 24-hour break before returning to collective training, despite the absence of several international players participating with the Saudi national team in Gulf Cup 27.

Al-Hilal are preparing to continue their preparations during the national team's participation in the Gulf tournament, which is being hosted in Jeddah from September 23 to October 6.

The Italian coach has set five consecutive days for training, after which the players will receive a week's break before returning to continue preparations for official competitions.

Seven international players are missing from Al-Hilal's training: Mohammed Al-Owais, Mohammed Kanno, Nasser Al-Dosari, Muteb Al-Harbi, Mohammed Mahzari, Hassan Tambakti, and Sultan Mandash, after joining the Saudi national team camp.

Inzaghi's decision comes amid a strong start for Al-Hilal this season, as they topped the Saudi Pro League table with 18 points, alongside securing their first three Asian points against Al-Gharafa.

Al-Hilal have also secured qualification to the Round of 16 of the King Salman Cup, continuing their journey in three competitions this season.

The break gives Inzaghi the opportunity to work with the available group and enhance their physical and technical readiness before the return of international players for upcoming challenges.
