FIFA Announces Suspension of Zamalek's Player Registration for the Eighth Time
The official website of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced the suspension of player registrations for Zamalek Club for the eighth time.
The newspaper "Youm7," citing a source from Zamalek Club, reported that the Belgian club Charleroi, from which the Palestinian player Adi Dabbagh transferred to the White Castle (Zamalek), is the reason for the new suspension the club is facing.
The source confirmed to the newspaper that the Belgian club Charleroi has not received the first installment payment of 170,000 euros for the transfer of Uday Al-Dabbagh to Zamalek, as agreed upon by both parties.
Zamalek is suffering from severe financial crises, which have resulted in a registration ban due to overdue payments owed to several former players and coaches, as well as to other clubs.
