The newspaper mentioned that the top priority within Barcelona is to bring back Araújo, as he is one of the team's leaders and a highly respected player in the locker room. Additionally, his return would save the club from making a huge financial investment in the transfer market.

The newspaper explained that the club renewed the Uruguayan defender's contract last January until 2031, a move that reflected great confidence in his abilities. However, the complexity of his current situation stems from the fact that it concerns his mental health, which makes it difficult to set an exact date for a full recovery, with the possibility of a relapse not being ruled out.

The report indicated that in the optimistic scenario, where Araújo returns fully fit, Barcelona will look to the market for a young, relatively low-cost left center-back to be gradually developed without the pressure of relying on him as a starter from the outset.
