Hani Ramzy: Al Ahly Does Not Consider Ahmed Abdelkader's Departure to Zamalek
Hani Ramzy, former Al Ahly star, spoke about Aliou Dieng renewing his contract with Al Ahly, while expressing his desire for Ahmed Abdelkader to leave the club.
Aliou Dieng has shown outstanding performance during Al Ahly's matches, making him one of the team's most important players in recent times.
Hani Ramzy said on the program "Man to Man": "I hope Al Ahly renews Aliou Dieng's contract because he is very important beyond the contract value. As for Hussein El Shahat, I would renew his contract year by year with an option, and Ahmed Abdelkader's departure."
He added: "Al Ahly is not considering the departure of Ahmed Abdelkader to Zamalek. Al Ahly has no problem with him going anywhere as long as he doesn’t want to stay. Ahmed Abdelkader is one of those players who likes to play regularly, and his playing opportunities at Al Ahly are limited due to the presence of Trezeguet, Ashraf Bencharki, Taher, and Hussein El Shahat."
