Arteta added regarding Gabriel's potential return for the Aston Villa match: "He is working hard as he always does during his absence, progressing excellently in his recovery, training on the pitch, so he is close to returning. We will see the upcoming stages of recovery, and we are optimistic."

Arteta continued about Martin Zubimendi's absence from open training: "The playing time of some players who played many minutes was managed, and perhaps this is why he did not appear in recent training sessions."

Arteta confirmed about passing six years leading the team: "These years have gone by quickly; a lot has happened during them, but it has been a wonderful journey, and I have enjoyed every minute of it."

He added about their first visit to the Hill Dickinson stadium: "It is strange but very exciting. The stadium is amazing, and we will have a chance to win there. We expect a strong encounter on Saturday."

Regarding the challenges they faced at Goodison Park, he said: "All away matches are tough, and we must be at our best to win on Saturday."

Arteta explained about making the new stadium a place for victories: "We have achieved good results away in recent years, and these stadiums must be places we go to win. To achieve that, we must be at a high level."

About the atmosphere of the holiday season in the Premier League, he said: "The season is different; there is a lot of pressure and many matches, but it is a great opportunity. The atmosphere in the stadiums is unique, and we must enjoy it."

He continued regarding managing Zubimendi's load in his first season without a winter break: "We take care of him during the short available times, and he must make the most of every chance to maintain himself. He adapts wonderfully to the demands of the league and club."

About maintaining the relationship between Everton and their fans in a new stadium, he said: "Every stadium has its history and different energy, and it takes time to adapt. We have experienced that at Arsenal as well."

Regarding changing the club's culture as one of his major achievements, he explained: "That was one of the achievements; the foundation was laid quickly, and maintaining it is very difficult. We have a committed and strong team, and the social and sporting transformation in the club continues and proves its success."

Arteta added about who bears the team's success: "One man cannot change everything; success depends on a committed and integrated team, and I feel the players give 100% daily to achieve what we want."

About his admiration for David Moyes, he said: "I feel grateful and admire him. He taught us the love of the game and the required integrity, and his way of managing the club is wonderful."

When asked what he wants for Christmas, Arteta smiled and said: "Win, win, win, win, win, win, and that’s all. The rest will come naturally."

Regarding his expectation to stay after six years in charge, he added: "I would take each day as it comes. The main goal is to win matches, and that is what I focus on."

About the possibility of Mikel Merino playing in the attack, he said: "Yes, he is a serious option; he has scored important goals and deserves consideration."

Regarding comparing Victor Gjokaj to Mikel, he explained: "Victor has different qualities, and everyone is important to the team. Gabriel also made an impact in the last two matches."

Concerning the near return of Kai Havertz, he said: "He is recovering well and quickly, and we are optimistic about his return soon if things continue this way."

About conceding goals in the last three away matches, he explained: "It is about consistency. We lost only one of 21 away matches, and we must learn and play better."

Regarding using a full week of training before facing Everton, he said: "Sustained energy during the match is important, and we worked on defensive habits and communication among players. We expect improvement on Saturday."

About losing atmosphere when clubs move to new stadiums, he added: "It might differ, but I think it will also bring positive things."

Regarding choosing players for forward matches, he said: "The difficult decisions are when you might weaken the team or expose players to injury. These are the challenges."

About his evaluation of Victor’s first months at the club, he explained: "He started with difficulty due to no preparation period, but he adapted and showed a good period before his injury, and we have full support for him."

Regarding the pressure of expectations on him, he said: "The experience of dealing with global pressure is different from what you imagine, but he performs with seriousness and high energy."

Arteta concluded his statements about expecting a better level in the second half of the season by saying: "Yes, I believe so."
