FIFA Suspends Zamalek's Registration for the Seventh Time Due to Chico Banza
Thursday 18-12-2025
FIFA has decided to suspend Zamalek's registration for the seventh time after the deadline to pay the dues owed to the Portuguese club Estrela Amadora, related to the transfer of player Chico Banza to the White Club, expired.

The Portuguese club had filed an official complaint against Zamalek for not receiving the first installment of the transfer fee, amounting to 200,000 euros, leading FIFA to issue a ruling requiring Zamalek to make the payment within 45 days.

After the 45-day deadline passed without Zamalek paying the required amount, FIFA automatically enforced the penalty.

There are other cases awaiting judgment in the coming period, including those involving Michalak and Ibrahima N'Diaye, as well as the outstanding payments owed to the Moroccan club Zemamra in the Salah Eddine Mosdaq deal, Ittihad Tanger in the Abdelhamid Maali deal, and the Tunisian Ahmed Al-Jafali.
