Al-Mahdi Suleiman Guards Zamalek's Goal in the Capital Cup Matches
Sports journalist Khaled El-Ghandour revealed that Al-Mahdi Suleiman will guard the goal for Zamalek in the Egypt Cup matches.
Al-Ghandour said on Facebook: "Al-Zamalek goalkeeper Al-Mahdi Suleiman will continue to be part of the team in the upcoming matches of the Egypt Capital Cup, by decision of the club's management."
He continued: "Ahmed Abdel Raouf believes that it is better for El-Mahdy to remain in the starting lineup even after Mohamed Awad returns from Qatar following the conclusion of Egypt's second national team's participation in the Arab Cup."
Zamalek is scheduled to play a match against Haras El Hodood next Saturday in the second round of the Egypt Capital Cup.
The match between Zamalek and Ismailia Electricity in the first round of the tournament ended in a 3-3 draw.
